Vanessa is the current intern at the UA Ruhr Liason Office in New York. She supports the three Fellowship Programs as well as assists the UA Ruhr team with administrative tasks such as press releases, social media content, and other relevant presswork. She is completing her master's studies at Ruhr-University Bochum, focusing on Luxury Re-Commerce in Germany and the impact of Personal Branding in Digital Marketing for her thesis. Vanessa is also an active member of the Female Academic Entrepreneurs Accelerator at Ruhr University Bochum, where she empowers women in entrepreneurship and finances. She is a founder herself, who started her own luxury re-commerce business in February 2023. Vanessa has spent time abroad in South Korea, Japan, the US, and traveled through Europe and is very passionate about helping other exchange students starting their adventure in a new country.
